A 14.3 1/2 hand stallion that is a proven sire. He is stron at the saddle horn, gutty, quick footed, and cowy. PC Ikewood Oaks
1997 Buckskin Stallion
"Oakie" has proven to be a phenomenal addition to our breeding program. A 1997 model, this buckskin stallion has stamped his superior disposition and conformation on his foals. He is the type of horse that can be handled anywhere at anytime. He is very easy to catch, trim, and haul. He was in Cutting training for two winters before being brought home. His trainer was very impressed with how easy-going "Oakie" was.
|
He has found his way into the hearts of everyone who has had the pleasure of working with him. "Oakie" is 87.5 % Foundation bred. His bloodlines trace back to Doc Bar twice, Poco Bueno twice, Three Bars three times, and Driftwood three times.

Skip Regulate
2001 Gray Stallion
Tucker" is the newest addition to our program. He is a 2001 dapple gray. As a yearling he placed third in the year-end awards for the Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Association Awards. Standing at 15.2hh and with 75% Foundation bloodlines, he is a welcome addition to our breeding program. His pedigree includes the bloodlines of Te'n'Te, Jackie Bee, and Skips Bartender. He is registered with the AQHA and APHA and is homozygous gray. His very first foal sold for $5000.00 when he was only a few weeks old. We are very pleased with what the foals look like! They have a great big hip and a lot of bone on them. |
"Tucker" has had 120+ days of professional riding and has earned points in halter. He was shown during the Central States Fair, placing second both days. |

Feature Hank
1994 Gray Stallion
"Hank" comes to us from the Bob Jordan dispersal and we feel very blessed to have him as one of our sires. We purchased him late in the summer of 2007 and he immediately earned his way into our hearts. He has his performance ROM in heading, heeling and calf roping. We showed him in barrels and halter, which he had never previously done in all of his years. He took to it like he had done it all of his life. He is now a point earner in Performance Halter.
|
In 2008 he earned seven barrel points at his first show of the season. He then went "down south" to try to earn enough points to go to the world in heading and heeling. He was certainly the underdog considering his age, but he worked hard. We bred a very limited number of mares to "Hank" in 2008 and are very anxious to see the foals in 2009. |

AJ Oak Rocker
2002 Buckskin Stallion - Reference Sire
Rocky" has been a favorite since he was born. He has been friendly since birth. He is a 2002 model with a deep, rich buckskin color. His dam is a proven producer of stallions, with at least six of her offspring being kept as stallions. He has a super personality and beautiful conformation. In his only showing in halter as a yearling, he won Grand Champion Stallion. He has proven himself in Working Cowhorse, Reining, Western Riding, Heading, Heeling, barrels, poles, halter, and Trail. He has done well enough in EVERY event that he has been shown in to turn people's heads.
|
In 2007, with limited showings, he earned three Open All-Arounds, two Reserve Open All-Arounds and one Reserve Amateur All-Around. He was also Region II Experience Open All-Around and had such a commanding lead that the committee did not even have to wait until all the Open events were concluded before giving him his honor...a brand new saddle! He is a point earner in Jr.Reining, Jr.Working Cowhorse, Amateur Trail, Jr. Trail, Pleasure, and Open Performance Stallions. He has the mind and athleticism to do great things in any venue. His former trainer, Don Ulmer, cannot say enough nice things about how extremely personable he is and how quickly he learns. Don says, & quote; "'Rocky' has an excellent disposition and is built to be a powerhouse. He has the trainability to branch out in many directions with the structure, substance, and mind to do so." He has proven this by earning points in multiple events. He earned his performance ROM in January 2007.
He is passing that winning tradition on to his offspring who were also winners in 2007 in CON and SDQHA. |
